Microsoft Surface Fold: Windows Central points to Surface hardware direction

Windows Central moves the Surface Fold story forward on Surface hardware direction, while leaving the bigger commercial picture open. It is worth taking seriously, but one reporting line is not the same thing as a settled roadmap.

According to Windows Central, the main point here is Surface hardware direction. That is the part worth carrying forward, because it tells us where the reporting is starting to converge.

That leaves the coverage in a familiar place: clearer than before, but not locked. Microsoft has not closed those gaps publicly, and the surrounding reporting has not either.

Our view is that this advances the Surface Fold story because it narrows the conversation to Surface hardware direction, but it still needs either a second source or harder evidence.

The next useful check is corroboration: a second outlet, a filing, a supply-chain trace or a direct comment from Microsoft that confirms Surface hardware direction.
